Family Support

The powerful love and protection a parent feels when challenged by the random threat of cancer in their child are undeniable.

Emotional wellbeing through family support services

Patients, parents and siblings face immense challenges and change once a cancer diagnosis is made, throughout treatment and life after cancer.

Ensuring children in hospitals have access to the best possible and latest proven treatments includes essential psychosocial support therapies for children going through treatment and their families.

Our funding contributes to the Family Resource Coordinator roles at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital. The Coordinators are the familiar faces that bring light to the hospital ward, even during the toughest times.

Financial assistance for professional counselling services (both in-person and phone) is available throughout Australia and funded by the Foundation for children on or off treatment (up to five years), their parents or siblings.

If you, or someone you know, is struggling, please contact us to access support through this program.
