The Children’s Cancer Foundation has launched a new brand campaign – Don’t treat kids like adults – to raise awareness of the impact of cancer treatments on kids and is asking Australians to support funding for research into new curative treatments that are much gentler on young bodies that are still developing.
The imagery is powerful, and the message is critical.
Most people simply aren’t aware that almost all childhood cancer treatments were originally designed for adults.
But adult cancer treatments are just too harsh for kids!
80% of children who survive cancer have long-term or even life-long effects from their treatment. Side effects include vision and hearing loss, organ damage, infertility, and secondary cancers.
Children with cancer need kinder and better treatments.
Every donation takes the Foundation closer to the goal of helping to fund research programs to identify curative treatments for children with cancer that are much gentler on young bodies.
Because when it comes to cancer treatment, we can’t treat kids like adults.
Cummins&Partners brought the creative to life, while Starcom Australia and The Civic Partnership are helping to spread the word – the Foundation are beyond grateful.
