Acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) is one of the more common childhood cancers that is abnormal growth of a white blood cell type called myeloblasts and monoblasts.
The Children’s Cancer Foundation has launched a new brand campaign - Don’t treat kids like adults - to raise awareness of the impact of cancer treatments on kids and is asking Australians to support funding for research into new curative treatments that are much gentler on young bodies that are still developing.
