In May 2025, the Children’s Cancer Foundation launched a new brand campaign to raise awareness of the urgent need for better and kinder cancer treatments for children. The Foundation is grateful to Natalie and Rafael Oaten who bravely shared Raf’s childhood cancer story to raise awareness of the side effects cancer treatment has on young children.
After an extensive international search, the University of Melbourne, in partnership with the Children’s Cancer Foundation and My Room Children’s Cancer Charity, is pleased to announce the appointment of Professor David Eisenstat as the inaugural Children’s Cancer Foundation and My Room Chair in Childhood Cancer.
The Children’s Cancer Foundation has launched a new brand campaign - Don’t treat kids like adults - to raise awareness of the impact of cancer treatments on kids and is asking Australians to support funding for research into new curative treatments that are much gentler on young bodies that are still developing.
