My journey to this role began at just 14 years old, when my life changed overnight and I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. What followed was a long and challenging journey through treatment, including countless needles, chemotherapy, hospital stays, and the many physical and emotional impacts that come with childhood cancer.

Those experiences have shaped who I am today and have pulled me towards advocacy and ambassadorship.
I have always felt a strong responsibility to use my voice to advocate for children and families facing cancer. In 2023, I began my journey with the Children’s Cancer Foundation by sharing my story at The Million Dollar Lunch. Since then, I have had the privilege of continuing to contribute to fundraising efforts and raising awareness for childhood cancer.
Being part of this Foundation means more than just telling my story. It is about creating real impact. It is about ensuring that the voices of those who have lived through childhood cancer are heard, helping guide where funding is most needed, and advocating for better outcomes for future patients.
I am passionate about raising awareness in the community, because childhood cancer is something no family should have to face, and yet too many still do. By sharing my experience, I hope to bring both understanding and urgency to this cause.
Thanks to the Foundation’s continued investment in world-class research, clinical care and family support, children with cancer today have better chances than ever before and a brighter future waiting for them.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for caring about people like me. Every effort, every event, and every show of support truly makes a difference.
